No, you don't have anxiety. Yes, we are indoors. No, it is not that bad. Going over my social media, I've seen members of my generation and younger going a little crazy over the lockdown situation. I'm not saying it is not affecting us, because it is and it will. It has been less than a week, but there is a lot of suffering going on. First, this post is only about people on similar conditions as mine, which are not struggling with bills, lack of food and have their families around to support them. People with privileges.

First, the biggest issue is the lack of solidarity. Just because the death tolls of COVID-19 do not include young people, it doesn't make you immune. The World Health Organization had a message for our generation "You are not invincible, the virus could put you in a hospital for weeks or even kill you." Remember that you could be carrying the virus around and making other people sick. Still, I know this is not enough, so keep in mind 21-year-old Chloe Middleton, from the UK. Chloe died last week from the virus, and NO she had no underlying health conditions. This is real, it is taking lives, and you or a member of your family could be next.
Second, no you are not suffering from anxiety, anxiety is a mental disorder, a mental health issue, a disease. People treat it with medication, people have panic attacks on their jobs or social venues because of it, they can't help it. So do not compare feeling anxious because you are bored with Anxiety. People suffering from it are struggling with it right now in their homes too. The difference is that their symptoms are physically expressed, making it even worse, and you just start an Instagram story or complain about it on a tweet. Third, according to what I've seen in social media, the biggest trigger for anxious behaviours is the fact that your videos and photos now have the same background. There aren't many updates as you used to, but it is what happens with a lockdown. Believe me, nobody cares where the picture was taken or where you are making your Tik Tok video, people just want to see that you are safe at home. The least of your concerns should be the background or your surrounding because if it is the same day after day, it means you are taking care of your family and my family. Last, here is an idea. Since I've been a victim of multiple Instagram challenges; From drawing a carrot, uploading photos, answering questions and riddles to even using templates with random facts. Let's all play a new one. The LockDown Challenge: Let's see how long can you go staying at home without complaining about it. Count each day and post a selfie indicating each day that passes by without suffering for being indoors. It is not about what you did that day, it's only about not complaining to ANYONE about the Lockdown. I challenge you, and hopefully, it will help decrease your anxious episodes.
